Alex's unique upbringing, born in Sudan and exposed to wildlife at an early age, laid the foundation for his passion for the outdoors and animal welfare. His grandfather's role as a wildlife protector instilled in him a deep love and respect for nature. After leaving Sudan due to the civil war, Alex's life in the Netherlands involved participating in various sports, including BMX and taekwondo. His mandatory service with the Dutch Army further honed his survival skills and resilience.

Throughout his life, Alex has pursued his passion for extreme sports, including big wave surfing, and has taken on formidable challenges. Notable achievements include a 1,800 km paddle down the Yukon River from Canada to Alaska and an attempt at the Yukon Arctic Ultra, a self-supported race covering 300 km in frigid temperatures as low as -50 °C.

To maintain his expertise and physical readiness, Alex divides his time between Amsterdam and Chamonix, where he diligently follows a rigorous mountain training regime. He is deeply committed to sharing his knowledge and experiences with others, aiming to inspire and instill enthusiasm for spending time in challenging environments. Alex emphasizes the importance of calculated decision-making and finding alternative solutions when faced with excessively dangerous situations, ensuring that risks remain within acceptable levels.

With his key skill in extreme outdoor combat survival training and expedition expertise, Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for the outdoors to International Protection Services.
